auf der Suche nach einem neuen Router

<div class="bbWrapper">Hallo euch,<br /> <br /> <br /> seit kurzem habe ich einen neuen Internet Dienstleister weshalb ich auf der Suche nach einem neuen Router bin.<br /> <br /> Die letzten Tage habe ich mich deshalb durch die ein oder ander Seite im Internet gewühlt wie „wirecutter“ „cnet“ „amazon“ usw. um evtl. eine Entscheidungshilfe zu bekommen was ich mir anschaffen soll. Schlussendlich habe ich mich für den den „<a href="https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0741FFT6F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1" target="_blank" class="link link--external" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">TP-Link Archer MR400 AC1200 Dualband</a>“ entschieden. Da wir nächstes Jahr hier bei mir in der Stadt (lebe in Österreich) sowieso 5G bekommen werde ich wohl oder übel sowieso einen neuen Router kaufen müssen, deshalb möchte ich mir jz auch kein sehr teures Gerät anschaffen.<br /> <br /> Was haltet ihr von dem Router? Hat eventuell jemand von euch diesen ebenfalls bei sich zu Hause stehen? <div class="bbWrapper">Gibt es denn da nichts passendes von AVM? Allein schon aus Sicherheitsgründen kommt mir kein Gerät eines anderen Herstellers ins Haus.<br /> <br /> Man hört immer nur von fatalen Sicherheitslücken in den Geräten quasi aller anderen Hersteller. Bei AVM eigentlich nie. Und wenn, dann sind die Berliner da sehr fix und kompetent das zu beheben. Auch kommen regelmäßig Updates raus.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Ich würde Asus nehmen,regelmäßige Updates,und die Möglichkeit,mit Tomato oder Merlin ddrwrt eine alternative Firmware aufzuspielen,um das Gerät den persönlichen Bedürfnissen anzupassen.</div>

So habe ich auch einen Made in Germany Router und das Ding ist wirklich gut und sicherheitstechnisch ganz oben.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Kannst du kein LTE Modem von deinem Anbieter bekommen? Dahinter hättest du freie Routerwahl.<br /> In meinem Fall würde ich einen Ubiquity USG wählen.</div>

Mehr als 10-17 Mbit (je nach Fritzbox) ist da nicht drin.<br /> <br /> Sicherlich lässt sich das auch anders lösen, aber dann brauche ich die Fritzbox nicht.<br /> <br /> Bin gespannt, ob AVM da demnächst reagiert.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Glaube nicht da AVM da so schnell reagieren wird, denn auch wenn die Anzahl der VPN Nutzer mehr wird, so sind sie immer noch in der gnadenlosen Minderheit. Da wird AVM also so schnell nichts ändern, dass diese User ein vernünftiges VPN betreiben können.</div>

Sicherheitslücken und stetiger Weiterentwicklung der Firmware. Werden auch in Germany gebaut. Die machen auch gute Router, sind aber leider nicht so günstig.</div>
