<div class="bbWrapper">Wie der Vorposter schon ganz richtig gesagt hat: Dein Gerät ist für das, was Du mit ihm machst, RAM-seitig zu knapp aufgestellt. Schließe _und_ beende Firefox, während Du Deine Fotos bearbeitest.<br /> <br /> SSD und RAM würde ich in das Gerät nicht mehr stecken wollen; die aktuelle Einstiegsklasse alter Macs betrachte ich als Modelljahr 2012 (wegen der USB3-Unterstützung), außerdem gibt es diverse Probleme mit den ATI-Grafikkarten der Zeit (die aber wohl noch einzeln tauschbar sind). Die Investition für 8GB zusätzlich und eine 500GB-SATA-SSD wären knapp 130 Euro.</div>

Das Problem tritt erst seit kurzem auf. Bzgl. Programmen versuche ich natürlich, alles zu schließen, was ich gerade nicht benötige.<br /> <br /> Dennoch seht ihr das Problem hardwareseitig? Oder kann da auch mal ein PRam-Reset oder Neu-Aufsetzen helfen?<br /> <br /> Schade ist natürlich, dass der Mac nicht mehr in den Genuss der letzten Updates kommt. Vom Swap werden jetzt jedenfalls 6GB genutzt, der natürlich furchtbar langsam ist. Stellt sich die Frage, was installiert/geändert wurde? Das lässt sich aus der Ferne und da wir nicht Du sind nicht sagen. Sinnvoll wäre ein Blick auf die Aktivitätsanzeige unter Alle Prozesse und Speicher, um herauszufinden, was so viel benutzt. Fakt ist, da ist einiges installiert, auch ein paar &quot;Tools&quot;, auf die hier ziemlich allergisch reagiert wird (da sie in der Regel mehr kaputtmachen als sie helfen). Neu aufsetzen könnte in der Tat helfen. Ich hoffe, Du hast ein Backup (auch für Apps, die es vll. nicht mehr gibt oder ältere Adobe-Software).</div>

Dann könnte ich mal anfangen und die erstmal deinstallieren. Ein aktuelles Backup habe ich nicht, synchronisiere meine Mediathekt und die wichtigsten Ordner aber mit der iCloud. Programme würde ich dann natürlich Stück-für-Stück erst wieder manuell installieren und dabei die Performance beobachten.</div>

Ist die letzten Jahre immer mehr geworden.<br /> <br /> Du hast aber auch einiges in letzter Zeit installiert. Unter anderen diese:<br /> <br /> AppCleaner SmartDelete (Julien Ramseier - installed 2020-03-29)<br /> Divvy (? - installed 2020-03-30)<br /> <br /> Ich würde sagen: Aufrüsten auf 16GB (also 2x4 dazu, oder gleich 2x8 dazu) Und die Festplatte durch eine SSD ersetzten, momentan kosten 1TB unter 100 Euro.<br /> <br /> Und gleich mal ne Externe Platte für ein Backup zulegen.</div>
