Kann Logitech macOS "Monterey" nicht?

<div class="bbWrapper">Hallo zusammen,<br /> ich habe die Tage ein Clean Install vom macOS &quot;Monterey&quot; gemacht und mit allem, Hardware und Software, keine Probleme - mit einer Ausnahme:<br /> <br /> MX Keys for Mac!<br /> <br /> Pairing und Bluetooth kein Problem - ABER: die Apple-typischen Tastenkombinationen funktionieren nicht mehr! So zeigt Option-L nicht den Klammeraffen an sondern das da: ˛ und Option-Umschalt-O nicht das Zeichen für leere Menge sondern das da: ̊. Und das nur als zwei Beispiele von vielen möglichen ... <br /> <br /> Eine Lösung habe ich bislang nicht gefunden - was aber auffällt:<br /> <br /> Die Logi Options zeigen an: „macOS 11.0“ - tatsächliches Betriebssystem ist aktuell aber &quot;Monterey&quot;, also macOS 12.0.1.<br /> <br /> Wer weiß weiter?<br /> <br /> LG Lothar</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Neuigkeiten zum Thema:<br /> <br /> Auf die Anmeldung als Beta-Tester erfolgte noch keine Reaktion - aber der Logitech-Support hat heute geantwortet und zwei Lösungsvorschläge unterbreitet:<br /> <br /> 1) Die Tastenkombination &quot;FN + O (Otto)&quot; soll das Mac-Layout einstellen - hat hier aber außer einem Signalton nichts bewirkt.<br /> <br /> 2) Auch das Reset der Tastatur plus anschließend erneutem Pairing hat in Sachen Mac-Layout nichts bewirkt.<br /> <br /> Interessant ist dann auch noch diese Information:<br /> &quot;Weiterhin wollte ich Sie informieren, dass unsere Logitech Options Software zurzeit nur mit MAC OS 11.0 kompatibel ist. Bis jetzt gibt es leider keine Aktualisierung oder Update für die neue Mac Betriebssystem Version.&quot;<br /> <br /> Notgedrungen bleibt also nur der Wechsel zurück zur Original-Apple-Tastatur (die problemlos funktioniert).</div>

Sämtliche, die ich in den letzten Jahren hatte (MX Master, MX Master 2 und auch die MX Vertical) sind nach einiger Zeit klebrig geworden und bei der MX Master 2 löst sich sogar die Gummierung auf dem Scrollrad ab. Außerdem werden sie stellenweise glänzend. Das trotz sauberer Hände bei der Benutzung.<br /> Ich habe mich dummerweise zu spät an den Support gewendet und so nur die Mitteilung erhalten, daß die Garantie zu Ende sei. <div class="bbWrapper">Okay, das bestärkt meine Vermutung: Bei mir ein Clean Install mit Monterey - bei dir ein Upgrade von Big Sur auf Monterey und unter Big Sur hatte meine Tastatur ja auch noch voll funktioniert.<br /> <br /> Interessant auch die Zeile &quot;Tastatur immer im Mac-Layout verwenden&quot; in den Logi Options+ - in den Logi Options gibt es diese Zeile / Option nicht. Vielleicht bekomme ich ja von Logitech noch eine Antwort auf meine Anmeldung als Beta-Tester...</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, daß es die Option auch in Logi Options gibt. Ich hatte das nämlich damals für die MX Keys (die normale) für den Mac eingestellt und auf dem PC eben PC Layout verwenden eingestellt. <br /> Da gab es Logi Options+ noch nicht.</div>

Was mir gerade noch eingefallen ist: ich habe die Mac-Version der Tastatur. Vielleicht hat das noch Einfluss auf die Optionen?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Das Ganze ist das Paradebeispiel dafür, wie sinnlos ein ‚clean install’ ist. Er ist (wohl?) von der Fehlvorstellung getrieben, dass man dann ein sauberes System hat. <br /> <br /> Ein solcher macht ganz ausschließlich Sinn, wenn man ein nicht behebbares, ernsthaftes Problem hat, und das ist so gut wie nie der Fall. <br /> <br /> Der Versionssprung auf ein neues OS sollte zudem nur dann vorgenommen werden, wenn man vorher prüft, dass benötigte Hard- und auch Software auch unterstützt wird. <br /> <br /> Hier könnte sich empfehlen, auf das Backup vor OS 12 zurück zu gehen. Ggf wären die dann noch unterstützen Treiber zu installieren. <br /> <br /> Sodann könnte versucht werden, dann das Upgrade auf OS 12 durchzuführen, nach den Erfahrungen anderer User wird dann eine Unterstützung erfolgen.</div>

Und wie ganz zu Beginn schon geschrieben: Alles (!), sei es Hardware oder Software, funktioniert ohne Probleme - mit einer einzigen Ausnahme, der Logitech-Tastatur MX Keys <u>for Mac</u> (sic!).<br /> <br /> Aber ich habe ja die gute 'alte' Original-iMac-Tastatur noch, leider halt ohne Tastenbeleuchtung (der einzige Grund, weshalb ich - noch unter Big Sur - zu Logitech wechselte).</div>

Dann war das wohl eine fehlerhafte Erinnerung. Nach der Neuinstallation der Logi Options+ ist es in Options+ zu finden. Auf dem PC steht dort halt &quot;Windows-Layout&quot; auch bei der &quot;for Mac&quot; Variante.<br /> <br /> An anderer Stelle habe ich gelesen, daß Fn-o für drei Sekunden gedrückt auf die Mac Belegung umschaltet und Fn-p auf die Windows Belegung. Bestätigen kann ich das bei einem Test aber nicht. Vielleicht geht das mit der Options+ Software nicht mehr.</div>
