[11 Big Sur] M1 - 'Kurze' oder 'Lange' Tastatur?

<div class="bbWrapper">Was verwendet ihr bevorzugt - die 'kurze' oder die 'lange' (mit Ziffernblock) Tastatur?<br /> Von Apple oder Logitech?<br /> <br /> Ich arbeite am neuen M1 MacMini mit der 'alten langen' Apple USB Tastatur mit Ziffernblock. <br /> Außer wenn man viel mit Tabellen oder mit VMs arbeitet gibt es kaum Vorteile mit dem Ziffernblock.<br /> Nachteil ist - ich besitze auch ein Trackpad, das daneben ist nun viel zu breit, da ich ja auch noch eine Maus verwende.<br /> <br /> Bei der kurzen Tastatur fände das Trackpad noch Platz.<br /> <br /> Die USB Tastatur würde ich nie hergeben, denn diese hat auch Verbindung wenn man beim Mac ins Bootmenü wechselt (z.B. bei Neuaufsetzen).</div>

Siet diesem Jahr habe ich das erste Mal eine Logitech MX Keys (die breite) ausprobiert und bin von der total begeistert. Sie ist für mich vom Tippgefühl her wesentlich besser als die das Apple Magic Keyboard in breit.<br /> Vor dem breiten Apple Magic Keyboard hatte ich die Apple Bluetooth Tastatur in schmal, aber da fehlte mir der Zehnerblock und mit der Anordnung der Cursortasten kam ich auch nicht so klar.<br /> <br /> Neben meiner MX Keys (for Mac in breit) liegt das Magic Touchpad in spacegrey (das leider nicht ganz zur MX Keys for Mac paßt, die normale MX Keys trifft den Farbton viel besser). Dazu benutze ich noch eine MX Vertical Maus (die ist aber eigentlich nur ein Jahr lang zu empfehlen, weil der gummibeschichtete (oder was auch immer) Kunststoff zu kleben anfängt und an einigen Stellen wird sie auch glänzend und die Beschichtung ist ab).<br /> Vor meinem 34&quot; Monitor ist mir das Ganze nicht zu breit, ich finde das geht ganz gut.<br /> <br /> Eine Sache ist mir eben zu MX Keys eingefallen. Die Tastatur ist richtig schön schwer und schiebt sich nicht so einfach auf dem Tisch herum. Das gefiehl mir nämlich unter anderem auch nicht an der Apple Tastatur, die ist viel zu leicht. Das erste Magic Keyboard wurde von Apple auch getauscht, weil es in der Mitte durchgebogen war. Das ist ein Konstruktionsfehler, den Apple bisher meine ich nicht behoben hat. Die Qualität der Tastenkappen war beim Magic Keyboard auch nicht wirklich gut. Die alten Apple Tastaturen (Extended Keyboard II (damit konnte man auch Nägel in die Wand hauen), das Adjustable Keyboard) waren da ein ganz anderes Kaliber. Die hätte man auch noch ein 30 Jahren problemlos verwenden können. Das Apple Pro Keyboard (war beim Cube dabei) war da auch schon nicht mehr so toll. Das Apple Keyboard danach, auch genannt die Krümelschublade, war auch nichts.<br /> <br /> Eine breite Apple USB Tastatur habe ich auch noch im Schrank liegen, nur für den Fall der Fälle.</div>

Von daher ist es für mich z.B. uninteressant.<br /> Und momentan würde ich auch mit M1 Mac trotzdem zur MX Keys greifen, weil ich die wesentlich angenehmer finde und Touch ID mir keinen Umstieg wert ist.<br /> Da es aber bisher keinen M1 Mac gibt, der einen Umstieg rechtfertigt (er müßte selbst wechselbares RAM und SSD besitzen), wird das auch noch dauern.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Mit den Logitech „Funkempfängern“ aber schon?<br /> <br /> Wobei mir der Logi Bolt USB-Empfänger sicherer erscheint als der Unifying USB-Empfänger (Beide von Logitech) - oder irre ich da? Besser wär natürlich USB direkt zu verwenden - aber ein gscheite kurze Tastatur mit Apple Belegung gibt es anscheinend nicht mehr.<br /> <br /> Was die eher seltene Situation betrifft, ins Boot Menü gehen zu müssen, die 'lange' Apple USB Tastatur ist ja noch immer vorhanden. Ich hätte mir damals auch gleich die kurze Apple USB Tastatur mitbestellen sollen.<br /> <br /> <a href="https://test.apfeltalk.de/community/members/160068/" class="username" data-xf-init="member-tooltip" data-user-id="160068" data-username="@iMactouch">@iMactouch</a> mit dem was du in deiner Signatur schreibst, hast natürlich recht, aber macOS ist immer noch (da UNIXoid) dem Windows überlegen - und die diversen Linux Distributionen bzw. das per Pedes zu installierende und konfigurierende xxBSD ist noch lange nicht an der Usability von macOS angelangt!<br /> Ich habe mich mit all dem schon in VMs befasst.</div>
