[MacBook Air] MBAir mit M1 und BigSur: Kein anderes Startvolumen anwählbar

<div class="bbWrapper">Hallo,<br /> <br /> ich habe ein MBP 15&quot; Mid 2015, dort wird Staingate bald repariert. Für die ca. 2 Wochen ohne Rechner habe ich mir das neue Air mit M1 bestellt, vielleicht bleibe ich auch da, eine gute Gelegenheit zum Testen.<br /> Nun habe ich von meinem 15&quot; MBP mit SuperDuper ein Bootable-Image erstellt und unter 10.14.6 halte ich beim Start die ALT Taste gedrückt und kann kurz danach auswählen, ob ich von der externen SSD oder der internen starten will. Klappt alles wie gewünscht.<br /> <br /> Nur beim neuen Air klappt das nicht. Mittlerweile reicht ja jede Taste zum Einschalten aus, ich habe herausgefunden, dass man den Startknopf lange halten muss (&quot;Startoptionen laden&quot;). <br /> Dann geh ich auf &quot;Optionen&quot;, &quot;Fortfahren&quot; und es erscheint der Wiederherstellungsassistent.<br /> Der bietet als Auswahl nur die Macintosh HD an, meine externe SSD erscheint nicht. Starte ich aber das Festplattendienstprogramm, so wird die externe SSD angezeigt.<br /> <br /> Hab schon gesucht im Netz, aber ich komme nicht weiter. <div class="bbWrapper">Das neue Gerät hat doch sicher den T2-Chip, der per default das externe Starten verhindert. Das kann man irgendwie ausschalten (musst mal googeln, mangels solcher Hardware habe ich keine Ahnung, wie).</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Das booten eines externen Startvolumes scheint nicht zu funktionieren. T2, das wird es sein. <br /> Den Link zur Apple Community kannte ich schon, hilft leider nicht. <br /> Ich wollte ja ausdrücklich die Zeit überbrücken, in der meine Produktivmaschine weg ist. Das Betriebssystem auf der externen Platte muss mindestens so aktuell sein, wie der Mac. Oder andersherum gesagt, macOS-Versionen, die älter als der jeweilige Mac sind, kennen diesen neueren Mac nicht und können nicht mit diesem umgehen.</div>

Sie brauchen ihn nicht mehr, da dessen Funktionen im M1-Chip bereits enthalten sind.<br /> <br /> Hier in diesem Fall verhindern gleich drei Probleme, dass das funktionieren kann:<br /> <ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">macOS 10.14.6 ist viel zu alt, um einen modernen Mac betreiben zu können. Dass das wegen des Prozessors so nicht geht, war mir nicht bewusst.
