[Photoshop] Trotz neuem iMac bei 5GB Datei langsam

<div class="bbWrapper">Ich dachte ja, ich bräuchte nach vier Jahren einen neuen iMac, damit ich wieder schneller und flüssiger arbeiten kann.<br /> <br /> Leider merke ich keinen spürbaren Unterschied zwischen Photoshop auf meinem neuen iMac (24 GB, i5, Retina, 27er, FD). Er hakt nach wie vor bei einer 5 GB Datei, sogar schon bei 3 GB. Ich habe da auch nichts spezielles, sind einfach nur ein paar viele Ebenen übereinander. (Buchcover)<br /> <br /> Woran liegt das denn? Die Speicherbelegung habe ich überprüft und auf 18 GB reservierten Speicher hochgeschraubt ... :/ Ich bin echt enttäuscht <img src="/community/styles/apfeltalk/smilies/Smiling Face.png" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":D" title="Big Grin :D" data-shortname=":D" /> Ich dachte, der neue würde abgehen wie ein junges Kätzchen.<br /> Der alte iMac ist aus 2011 und wurde auf 12 GB aufgerüstet. Plug-Ins nutze ich keine. Ich habe gestern eine Reihe an Pinseln installiert, aber geruckelt hat es schon vorher. Ich kann das mal mit dem anderen Nutzerkonto versuchen. Vielleicht macht er auch irgendetwas im Hintergrund, was er nicht soll?<br /> <br /> Mein alter Mac wurde von einem Profi aufgesetzt, der da nicht nur alle gängigen Programme installiert, sondern sicherlich auch an den Einstellungen operiert hat. Ich kann jedoch nur aus Erfahrung sagen, dass bei sehr großen Photoshopdateien mit sehr vielen Ebenen und Smart Objekts mitunter die Performance anfängt etwas einzubrechen. Generell kann man aber sagen, dass die Performance von Photoshop eh nicht 100 prozentig toll ist. Ich besitze den iMac 5K aus 2014 mit Vollausstattung und war am Anfang auch etwas enttäuscht. <div class="bbWrapper">Um es mal klar zu stellen: Die Rechenleistung der SandyBridge-CPU aus dem 2011-iMac ist keinesfalls so deutlich geringer als die der aktuellen SkyLake-CPU. Intel hat hier mehr Wert auf niedrigeren Stromverbrauch gelegt als auf mehr Rechenleistung. Das einzige das sich in mehr Rechenleistung auswirkt ist die um ca. 0,3GHz höhere Taktfrequenz. Aber das macht nur rund 10% aus und ist in der Praxis kaum zu spüren. Was sich ebenfalls auf die Performance auswirkt ist, dass die aktuellen MacOs alle Bearbeitungsschritte zwischensichern. Bei einer 5GB großen Datei geht das nicht mehr auf die SSD in der FD sondern geht direkt auf die HDD. Auch das kostet Zeit bremst den Mac aus, aber bringt dafür mehr Sicherheit<br /> <br /> MACaerer</div>
