[iPad mini 5] WhatsApp für unterwegs - iPhone zu Hause im Schrank

Die Person benutzt kein Smartphone. Sie hat ein altes Klapphandy und dazu das Huawei-Tablet mit Cellular für WhatsApp und alles andere, was man sonst mit einem Smartphone macht. Ich hätte schon längst zum Kauf des iPad Minis mit Cellular geraten, jedoch fehlt weiterhin die WhatsApp-App für das iPad. Der Markt von 8-Zoll-Tablets sieht aber sehr schlecht aus - noch schlechter als vor ein paar Jahren. Auf dem aktuellen Huawei-Tablet läuft kein Android und das aktuelle Samsung-Tablet überzeugt auch nicht wirklich. Ich bin deswegen auf folgende Idee gekommen:<br /> <br /> Es wird WhatsApp auf einem alten, bereits ausrangierten iPhone installiert, mit dem heimischen WLAN verbunden, an die Steckdose gesteckt, zu Hause gelassen und auf dem iPad Cellular eine Drittanbieter-App für WhatsApp(-Web) installiert. Findet ihr, das ist eine praktikable Lösung?<br /> <br /> Oder soll man lieber in den sauren Apfel beißen und die Zeit bis es endlich eine echte WhatsApp-App auf dem iPad gibt mit einem &quot;schlechten&quot; Android-Tablet überbrücken?<br /> <br /> Was glaubt ihr, wann wird es endlich eine WhatsApp-App für das iPad geben?<br /> <br /> Vielen Dank für Antworten!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Wird das Tablet nur zuhause verwendet? Dann kannst du es probieren. Ob das Ganze wirklich Spaß macht, wird man nur mit der Zeit sehen.<br /> Tatsächlich kommt man mit WA Web ganz gut zurecht.<br /> Ich persönlich glaube nicht mehr, dass es für das iPad kommt. Bzw. so langsam wie bei WA die Entwicklungen voranschreiten, sind Tablets durch modernere Technologien ersetzt worden.</div>

Ich habe das schon so oft gehabt, dass WhatsApp-Web auf dem Mac oder dem iPad die Verbindung verloren hat. Wenn man dann unterwegs ist und das Handy zu Hause im Schrank liegt ...</div>

Ich habe mich gegen &quot;WhatsAppWeb-App auf dem LTE-iPad und iPhone zu Hause in der Schublade&quot; entschieden. Das ist einfach keine dauerhafte stabile Lösung. Ich habe mich für das <b>Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 LTE </b>entschieden (für knapp 500€).
