Apple wird wieder in Sachen Ausbildung aktiv. Nach der Ausweitung des Everybody Can Code Projekts gibt es jetzt eine neue Kooperation. Der Konzern wird den Mala Fund unterstützen. So soll vor allem die Ausbildung von Frauen gefördert werden.
Friedensnobelpreisträgerin Lauerte Mala Yousafzai führt das Projekt. Das Ziel der Stiftung ist es, Frauen eine adäquate und faire Ausbildung zu ermöglichen. Mit den Mitteln von Apple soll eine Verdoppelung der Stipendien ermöglicht werden, zudem soll das Programm auf Lateinamerika und Indien erweitert werden. 100.000 Frauen sollen damit eine Ausbildung erhalten.
“My dream is for every girl to choose her own future,” said Malala Yousafzai. “Through both their innovations and philanthropy, Apple has helped educate and empower people around the world. I am grateful that Apple knows the value of investing in girls and is joining Malala Fund in the fight to ensure all girls can learn and lead without fear.”
Mala Fund bekommt mehr als nur Geld
Apple wird aber nicht nur finanzielle Unterstützung bieten. Der Konzern will bei der Organisation helfen und Schulungen anbieten. Tim Cook wird dazu auch dem Führungsrat beitreten.

She’s one of the most inspiring figures of our time, and we are honored to help her extend the important work she is doing to empower girls around the world.”
