Habe mir, wie in einem anderen Thread empfohlen, den Smartreporter runter geladen und feststellen müssen, dass ich schon über 300k Ladezyklen habe. Weiterhin habe ich gelesen, dass bei den mid 2012er MB mache HDDs dieses Problem der vielen Ladezyklen besitzen. Um jetzt nicht zu warten, bis die HDD &quot;den Geist aufgibt&quot;, wollte ich gegensteuern, da ich im großen und ganzen noch sehr zufrieden mit meinem MBP bin und mir so schnell sowieso kein neues leisten kann (Student).<br /> Leider habe ich von der Materie keine Ahnung und deswegen ein paar Fragen:<br /> <br /> 1. Welche SSD's sind gut? (Marke)<br /> <br /> 2. Das MBP mid 2012 wurde ja für eine HDD ausgelegt (Temperaturhaushalt), wie kommt das MB dann mit einer SSD klar? Muss ich da an den Lüftereinstellungen was ändern?<br /> <br /> 3. Sind die diversen Tutorials zum umbauen im Netz seriös?<br /> <br /> 4. Welche Kosten werden ca. auf mich zukommen? <div class="bbWrapper">die Dauertransferraten sind höher, ja. Aber darauf kommt es gar nicht an. Wesentlich sind die sehr geringen Zugriffszeiten und, dass es keine Varianz der Zugriffszeiten dabei gibt - bei elektromechanischen Festplatten redet man von mittlerer Zugriffszeit, weil abhängig davon, wo der Kopf relativ zur Plattenoberfläche und zur nächsten angefragten Datei steht, unterschiedlich viel Zeit vergeht. Der Kopf muss schwenken, die Platte weiterrotieren, es ist möglich, dass der Kopf nicht rechtzeitig geschwenkt werden kann, dann kommt eine weitere fast ganze Umdrehung hinzu usw. Die höhere Transferrate bekommt man quasi als Bonus obendrauf, die ermöglicht natürlich auch z.B. 4k-Videos unkomprimiert wiederzugeben. Wie <a href="https://test.apfeltalk.de/community/members/49034/" class="username" data-xf-init="member-tooltip" data-user-id="49034" data-username="@Patrick Rollbis">@Patrick Rollbis</a> schon schrieb, wird dieser Teil durch die Interfacegeschwindigkeit nach oben hin begrenzt, wenn die SSD selbst in der Lage wäre, mehr zu liefern.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">@ Optimus<br /> <br /> Im Baugleichen MBP habe ich eine Crucial SSD Betrieben mit 256 GB.<br /> Aber auch Samsung 840 Evo 128 habe ich erfolgreich zeitweise genutzt.<br /> <br /> Der Einbau, laut ifixit, geht schnell und einfach über die Bühne und kann auch selbst erfolgen - sofern man technisches Verständnis besitzt.<br /> <br /> Man muss auch nichts ändern bzw. konfigurieren sondern lediglich die HD gegen die SSD tauschen, darauf OS X via Internet Recovery installieren oder ein Backup aufspielen.<br /> <br /> Das ODD kann übrigens ersetzt werden durch die alte HD in einem passenden Case - gibt es auch bei ifixit.</div>

Vor allem, dass die SSD auch bei großen Daten noch so viel schneller ist als die HD.<br /> In der Uni ist es immer ärgerlich, wenn man in die Vorlesung muss, warten zu müssen bis das MB runtergefahren ist und die HD still steht, bevor ich es in den Rucksack stecke. (habe gerade ca. 200 GB gespeichert) Die Differenz zur 500 GB wäre ca. ein 16 GB Arbeitsspeicher. Auch eine Überlegung wert.</div>
