Hauptsache du managest sie über Azure, hast M365 Apps drauf laufen, sicherst sie über Defender ATP und die zugekauften Anwendungen wie Salesforce laufen im Azure RZ und SAP ist Azure AD connected.<br /> <br /> Was meinst du, weshalb sich Microsoft unter Satya Nadella für nahezu alle Plattformen geöffnet hat und du in Azure neben Windows auch Linux, BSD usw laufen lassen kannst? Warum sollte sich Microsoft also unter Druck gesetzt fühlen?<br /> Auch wird Apple nur aufgrund der ARM Lösung nicht den PC Markt übernehmen. Im Business Segment kommt man auch an Windows OS nicht vorbei, was Mac OS dort in den letzten Jahren geliefert hat ist halt nicht konkurrenzfähig. Man braucht ja nur mal versuchen ein Macbook in ein Windows Netzwerk mit Netzwerkbasiertem Dateiaustausch zu integrieren. Langsamer gehts nicht.<br /> <br /> Und selbst wenn Mac OS Marktanteile gewinnen sollte - na und? Windows als Betriebssystem ist schon lange nicht mehr der große Umsatzgeber von Microsoft. Auf Consumer ist eigentlich nur noch Xbox ausgelegt. <div class="bbWrapper">Hast recht, hatte bei den Surfaces nur die Quartalszahlen betrachtet, nicht den jährlichen Umsatz.<br /> <br /> Korrigiert sind es 146 Mrd Gesamtumsatz. <br /> Surfaces im letzten Jahr knapp 6 Mrd.<br /> <br /> Ziemlich genau 4%.<br /> <br /> Dann bleibt immer noch die Tatsache, dass die Geräte komplett unterschiedliche Kunden ansprechen, der Anteil mit 4% immernoch unwesentlich ist und die Kundengruppen sich mit Architektur nicht außeinander setzen.<br /> <br /> Kurzum, Microsoft wird durch Apples ARM Vorstoß nicht unter Druck gesetzt.</div>

Froh drüber ist Microsoft sicher nicht, dass das mit der ARM-Architektur beim Mac viel reibungsloser abläuft als auf den eigenen Systemen. Immerhin hatte Microsoft schon vor acht (!) Jahren erste Erfahrungen mit Tablets/Convertibles mit ARM-Architektur gesammelt (Surface RT). Apple erzeugt mit seiner ARM-Hardware gerade einen Buzz, den es in der Branche so noch nie gab. Mag sein, dass das alles keine Auswirkungen haben wird. Dass alles beim alten bleibt. Wissen tut es aber niemand. Und ich bin sicher, dass das Thema bei so einigen IT-Giganten zumindest für rauchende Köpfe sorgt.</div>
